You Are Enough…

Happy New Year everyone! I want to share my heart regarding something I dealt with early in 2021. I can be my own worst critic and that can be a good thing sometimes but not necessarily good all the time. If we’re not careful how we consider ourselves, we may end up knowing we’re good enough but not believing it and sometimes even question it. It happened to me …

Sometimes we allow people to say things to us, to do things to us that end up hurting our self esteem and that can lead to feelings of inadequacy, feelings of being incomplete and inferior. If we are not careful we may end up believing something that we know is not true about ourselves. Failed relationships can cause feelings of “not being good enough”. Not achieving some of our goals can leave us feeling “not good enough”. Not getting that dream job could leave us feeling “not good enough”.

If we are not careful, some of these issues we encounter with others and ourselves can lead to being emotionally unhealthy which can lead to us making some emotionally unhealthy decisions that can lead to regret and pain that will have us questioning our own worth!!! Read that again!

Sometimes we just need to be reminded that we are worth it! Let me begin 2022 by saying you are enough! You are strong enough, you are brave enough, you are capable enough of finishing whatever you set your mind to and bring it to fruition with the blessings of God attached to it! Let 2022 be a year of belief that no one can deter you from achieving and doing what God has called you to do in every aspect of your life, be it personal, spiritual or professional.

2021 taught me that I had to mend my own heart, pick myself back up when I made mistakes (and I made quite a few) and that no one was going to come rescue me. That isn’t anyone’s job. Some journeys are meant to be walked alone … and that’s ok!

You’re going to be fine! You’re going to win in 2022! It is my prayer that we all win in 2022! Know that “He that began a good work in you will carry it to completion …” Philippians 1:6

Let this be your anthem this year! Have a great year and I’ll be in contact with you all again in March!
