The fight is real

We all know that our actions are a direct result of our thoughts. If we have a negative mind, we will have a negative life. If we renew our minds according to God’s word, we will live out a life that is good and acceptable in God’s eyes.

Romans 8:5 (NASB) 5 For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

There is a constant battle in our minds and many times it can bring us to a place of doubt, discouragement and even sometimes make us want to quit. (I know, I was recently there) It is necessary and important for you to understand that you have to go thru it! In other words, you can’t give up. Spiritual progress is being able to go thru the time of testing in our lives and not quit. It is easy for us to quit but God reminds you today that in due time, you will come to a place of blessing! God will not leave you, He will not forsake you, He will be with you!

Our process will take time! We will have to endure suffering in order to rejoice when the breakthrough comes! When we try to do something on our own, we fail and then realize that we must wait on him to do what we cannot do. Be encouraged, release the negativity and let God direct you in all you do!
