Enjoy the Season
I hope you’re enjoying your summer. As our summer begins, vacations begin, our children are out of school and we prepare for the summer season that is upon us, I am reminded that our lives operate in seasons. For some of us, that season may have been a dark & lonely one, for others it may have been filled with joy and hope. Nevertheless we all have an opportunity to start again!
“No one can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending”
(Unknown).
In other words , we don’t start over; but we begin again right where we are, making things better in our lives. Your roadblocks aren’t roadblocks at all, but rather new beginnings in disguise. Perhaps your missteps are actually opportunities for growth, greater closeness with God or a nudge to take a leap of faith. This life and everything in it will pass away, but God’s love never changes. Our new start can’t be found in more money, more business, more fun, more stuff or more visits to the gym. Our new start is found only in Him.
Isaiah 43:19, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (NIV)
Have a blessed Summer Season!
